Lateral Squat Jump
Rep Range
8-20
Hints
Start with feet hip-width apart, toes slightly pointed out. Keep hands together in front for balance. As you lower into a squat, aim to powerfully jump sideways to the opposite side. Land softly, transitioning immediately into the next squat.
Common Mistakes
Avoid landing with locked knees. Make sure your squat is deep enough, but not so deep that your knees extend beyond your toes. Be careful not to let your knees collapse inward during landing or the squat.
Breathing
Inhale as you lower into the squat. Exhale as you jump sideways, landing into the squat on the opposite side.
