How to do Step Up
Stand in front of a sturdy, armless chair, holding a dumbbell in each hand by your sides. Step onto the chair with one foot, pressing through the heel to elevate your body. Return to the start and complete reps for one leg before switching.
Common mistakes
Ensure your entire foot is on the chair seat, not hanging off. Maintain an upright posture without leaning forward. Engage your core to maintain stability.
